    Hey! I just wanted to share some good blender tutorial links, that can make everyone work in blender. Most of these I have used myself. The links I will give here, will make that you will get able to create and edit simple objects, and even create some faces(not face rigs)and mayby in future even the real facerig. Go from 1st to XX for good starting point and progress.

    1st tip- If you hit the point you cant do anything or something is broken, you can just restart the blender, and try again. You will probably find it out in future.
    2nd tip- Blender do NOT have autosave. Remember about that.
    3rd tip- Every, just Evrery Single buttoms does something.
    4th tip- You will not be able to do with the speed of the guys in the videos. They know the shortcuts, while you dont. Also, they are doing this for months. Dont rage, just pause/replay the moment which is hard for you.

    Watch it slowly, and dont be afraid to go back. Just note to remeber- one small key in keyboard, can create a gigantic crater in your creation.

    Be aware- advanced technology here. If you are using blend version 2.69, set alpha in grab brush to 100%.

    It is what Im acctualy doing. I will be making trying to make the space ship coordinor. Be aware, it is high difficulty lvl.

    I will probably make this bigger, as I will level up a little bit. If you can, post your own vids an d links. Also, share what you created.

    cool every bit helps, I plan to try and start posting a bunch of thing after learn blender, I haven't had time untell now so i think ill have something in about 2 weeks or less if I stay motivated. I have a lot simple ideas to get things rolling and I hope the work/examples I post will help get the community started on some ides and get motivated as well.

    I have hope. At this moment Im in stagancy. Im trying to learn the best way of creating characters, and also find out a character I want to make. Also O will need to look at how to create tooth. If you find it out, send me a message :).

    I can't even figure out how to edit the default box >.> I'm one of those people where if they go to fast, I don't know what's happening and rage quit XD I'm going to have to dedicate more time to learning this honestly.

    Hah, yeah, Blender is a real pain to learn if you don't dedicate the time to it. Personally, I pause the videos over and over so that I can see exactly what they're doing >< ... People need to learn to slow themselves down in videos so that people can actually LEARN...

    I used to be able to do basic editing pretty fluently, but it's been so long since I used Blender (at least three months), I've forgotten everything =X haha

    You can start working on an avatar without fear that the result will be useless at launch program. Sure we are still changing stuff regarding the models, just the other day I've made some changes, but this are things related to animation structure and fine-tuning. A pretty important part of the way the models and textures should be done is quite common and what is not common can be made later on.
    If you are starting with a low polygon mesh, my suggestion would be to study a little the way edge loops should be placed in order to permit proper deformation in expressions. I think is one of the most important things to take care of regarding such a model.
    If you start with a high resolution mesh, please make sure that you choose a neutral pose and expression, and make the avatar torso and up, not just a floating head. That is of course if it's not intended to be a floating head :)
    At this moment a would not advice to start skinning and make animations as for a final data batch. If you can handle scaling and reorienting such things later on this is not an issue. Otherwise it could be a problem when we'll release the model specifications.

    Thanks for advices! Just some guestions of newbie - Is there data of usage blender/cycles render? Also, does nodes work with facerig? Its something for future, Im still at basic models. I maded 2 trys(only mesh) but it is nothing much. My plan is to start learning somewhere before may, because I have test(my futur lies in it :/ ) before it.

    I don't know Blender but I can tell you what kind of data you supposed to produce in order to make an Facerig avatar.
    Mandatory: skinned low polygon mesh (in fbx format or someting similar, Collada probably), animations (basically static expressions deconstructed in elements), a diffuse texture (the mesh color information)
    Optional: additional texture maps (normal, ambient occusion, specularity, reflectivity and other custom maps), fur information (in the same format as the model, fbx or dae), configuration file (custom shading, custom animations and other specifics).
    The first step would be the mesh. I personally prefer to start with a high resolution mesh even if is something like Flaffo or an anime character. But this is not mandatory, you can start with a low poly and add detail later.
    A good concept art and/or blueprint should help quite a lot :) .

    Warning: New Blender 2.7 came out!
    Better cycles render is probably the biggest advantage of it(personally).

    Blender is free program!!!
    Its better then any other program!!!
    Other 3D Grapic tools are very expensive.
    I could know good program. i appreciate it!!
