    Hey guys,

This isn't a big deal I don't think, but it confused me. When I converted a layer to a smart filter and applied a filter to it the mask that appeared was all black. I had to use the (white) brush to get the applied filter show on the image. This has happened occasionally and I'm not sure why or how to prevent it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
