    Also...MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH! After about a week of struggling with re-installation and learning more about FaceRig/Coding, I have managed to import my first piece of avatar into FaceRig! Sadly Fidget is headless at the moment, but I am pretty confident that this won't be the case for long :D

    Progress made so far:
    1. Re installed steam to the C:\ directory to avoid spaces in filepaths
    2. Tweaked the furnonormal shader to a certain degree and successfully imported the body of Fidget
    3. (I'm pretty proud of this one :p) Wrote Mel script that essentially converts a zBrush groom to parented and named locators for the vector baking process. I think a reduction of curves is necessary, but that isn't a problem.

    I will post a Dropbox link to my Mel script for you guys in case you are interested in trying it out.

    Update: Successfully imported rest of Fidget into facerig! At the moment she is a bit of a puffball.

    What to tackle next: Some funky rendering issues with the fur as well as grooming the fur (I have already successfully groomed the fur on the body alone, so that should be pretty straight forward.

    The funky rendering with the fur: please send a mail with the problems to artsupport[at]holotech[dot]eu please, it is best to tackle these as early as possible. :D

    If you have divided the furred patches in multiple materials/shaders , and the seams are not masked somehow there will tend be problems in those areas because of alpha blending and the way we use the depth buffer to ensure a correct drawing order for the extruded shells. At any rate there are a number of ways to sort that out, so please send us a mail so we can get into more details .

    Wow, this is absolutely excellent. I am astounded because to me what you are creating is absolute magic. I just wanted to thank you for bringing such awesomeness into the world and for you to know your work is incredibly appreciated! The applications of this excites me to the extreme and I encourage you to keep up the excellent work! Just so you know I'm a voice actor and though my voice is nowhere near appropriate for Fidget, you are going to send Fidget fans who enjoy and are able to copy Fidget's tone and inflection into an absolute frenzy. I sincerely encourage you to keep up the incredible work and continue competing against yourself, you're fuckin' awesome!

    Thank you for the information Dragos! I do have the furred patches divided up on multiple pieces of geometry each with its own shader. I'm super glad to hear that there is more than one way to get this sorted because I was starting to worry that I would have to re texture most of my model DX. I will shoot you an email asap with details on how I have my avatar set up for import at the moment and hopefully we can get this sorted in a jiffy!

    Sorry to bump, but are you still working on this? I don't have FaceRig (planning on getting it at some point), but I love Dust: An Elysian Tail and your modelwork is fantastic. I'd love to be able to use it (once I get FaceRig, of course).

    It seems like all work on 3D custom avs has stopped since Live2D came out. A shame.
