Trouble Getting Minimum Viable Avatar Off The Ground

    I am trying to make a very simple avatar to ease my way into developing. It's a mostly spherical head with little more than the required bones. Trouble is, I'm hitting a roadblock before I even get that off the ground.

    I am using blender. The guide says to export as a Collada file, and I did. I even used the FBX converter. So I have a lonely little .dae file in my "avatarTest" directory, and facerig doesn't seem to care about it. Thing is, looking at the Steve and Elise files, they don't even have a .dae file in them. I don't get it... Also, I can't figure out how to make my materials in TARGA files.

    My blender file is at the link below. If someone could take a look and let me know what steps I'm missing I would appreciate it.

    I know it's ugly. I was just trying to hammer out an approximate shape. No doubt I've screwed up a lot of fundamental stuff. So why bother making it pretty now? I also gave it two different kinds of eyes to see if either of them was actually viable.

    Don't forget to name it correctly...

    So AvatarnameGeometry.dae is the basemesh and rigging , and then an idle.dae animation is what I used as a minimum.

    I can't look at the file as I don't use blender. Also, make sure there's no spaces in your facerig folder structure. Common mistake.
